Adam Giacopuzzi
Adam has been playing music since the age of 6, when he began violin lessons. Classical training eventually gave way to his love for the “fiddle”, as his passion for the instrument thrived, playing Texas style swing, jazz and bluegrass. By the age of 16, he was touring the country with his family bluegrass band (dad on guitar, mom on bass, Adam on fiddle, his brother on mandolin, sister on Dobro, and all singing 4 part harmonies), playing bluegrass festivals as well as winning numerous awards.
By age 20, he had taught himself to play guitar and bass, and put together a rock trio called Soundhaven. He wrote most of the original tunes for the band, and they were picked up by a local manager, spending several years playing the Hollywood scene.
The trio broke up, deciding to pursue a higher education rather than the rock star lifestyle, and Adam graduated a few years later with a Bachelor of Music in Composition from CSUN. He landed a few composing gigs, including a full soundtrack of eclectic music for a documentary.
A few years later, he was hired as the Music Director at Crossroads Church in Camarillo, and lead the worship and music there for 10 years. As a multi-award winning violinist, accomplished guitarist and vocalist, and an experienced composer and arranger, Adam brings creativity and musical expertise to every variety of music he endeavors in.
Sam Reynolds
Sam has been singing, humming, and whistling since she was five years old, teaching her self the harmonies to “Cruella de Ville” with her Play Skool boombox. Once she got into middle school, she started to share her love of music with others, singing with the Los Robles Children’s Choir, doing plays and musicals at school, and joining her church’s youth worship band.
Since then, there hasn’t been an extended period of time where she hasn’t been involved on stage, at a soundboard, or behind the scenes in some capacity barring the time she went to Oxford to study English lit. In 2012, she joined the adult worship band at her church under Adam’s leadership. After a few years, she offered to do the vocal arranging which he graciously allowed her to do. Together, they and their fellow bandmates put on some of the best Christmas and Easter services in the county. Her clever vocal parts complimented his expert production and musical arrangements, and when he decided to move on to something new in 2019, they decided to keep working and creating together.
In addition to playing with Adam, she is a worship leader and front of house engineer at Calvary Nexus in Camarillo.
